🔹As the 11th president of the U.S., James Polk expressed his support for a strict adherence to the constitution
🔹1836 Gag Order -this 'could possibly be' applied to the current obstructive dissents regarding National Security actions being taken by our War Dept, DHS/ICE, etcetera, etcetera.
🔹MANIFEST DESTINY helped acquire portions of Mexico & Canada, from Britain. The "Gulf of America" renaming also comes to mind. Polk oversaw the largest territorial expansion in American history.
🔹Polk also signed the Independent Treasury Act on August 6, 1846.
The 1846 act provided that the public revenues be retained in the Treasury building and in sub-treasuries in various cities. The Treasury was to pay out its own funds and be completely independent of the private banks of the nation.
The separation of the Treasury from the banking system was never completed. Perhaps this is Yet Another goal President Trump is aiming for? Haha, as if we didn't already know. Maybe 'SILVER ENDS THE FED' is finally on its way to being manifested?

🔹Polk faced obstacles in Congress in seating Justices on the Supreme Court, among others.
In total Polk appointed 10 Article III federal judges, including 2 Justices to the Supreme Court of the United States, 1 judge to the United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, and 7 judges to the United States district courts.
