On top of that generation Z Leads Expected Attendance at Christmas Masses.
A recent survey conducted by Tearfund, in partnership with Savanta, in November 2025, indicates an expected increase in attendance at Christmas masses.
In total, 45% of adults plan to attend a church or religious event this Christmas, compared to 40% in the previous year. Generation Z leads with 60% planning to participate, the highest percentage among the generations, followed by Millennials with 59%, Generation X with 36%, Baby Boomers with 30%, and the Silent Generation with 24%.
