Mayor Karen Bass @MayorOfLA - Our South L.A. Holiday Drive supported nearly 3,000 Angelenos this weekend with food, toys, and home essentials. This was made possible by community partners and Angelenos who came together at the iconic Vision Theatre to make the season a little brighter for families.
Many families are struggling right now, but no matter what neighborhood you come from, the thing I love about our city is that we stick together and step up when we see a neighbor in need.
My office worked alongside critical partners, including Amazon, the L.A. Regional Food Bank, LAFD’s Spark of Love toy drive, and community-based organizations to distribute goods so that even in tough times, people can come together and share in the holiday spirit.
