This week, I was running on the National Mall and stopped to thank some soldiers from the Louisiana National Guard who have been deployed to D.C. since August. It’s important this holiday season to remember the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform who often spend these special times far from home, family, and friends as they work around the clock to keep all of us safe. Cynthia is a gifted legislator with a deep reservoir of knowledge, especially about financial policy, where she has been a leader in the Senate. She was also a strong partner in pushing back against the Biden administration’s egregious federal overreach in western states, like Alaska and Wyoming. Cynthia honored me and Julie, and our fellow Alaskans, by visiting our state this past summer. We had a wonderful time welcoming her, showing her different parts of Alaska, and, of course, getting some fishing in! Cynthia’s sense of humor and joyful laughter made it a very special visit for all of us. Thank you, Cynthia, for your years of dedicated service to the people of Wyoming and to our country.
