Hollywood Golden Age of Cinema @HGACinema - Video: Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra dancing to “I Begged Her” in the 1945 MGM musical “Anchors Aweigh”.
It was reported that Frank Sinatra required eight weeks to learn the dance routine for this number. In filming it, 72 takes were needed to get the right footage, although this was more likely due to Gene Kelly’s eye for perfection rather than Sinatra’s inexperience as a dancer. Sinatra later said that he could have made an entire film in eight weeks.

911 calls from Little Village residents have dropped by 21%. And HALF of our city’s neighborhoods have seen school attendance drop.
