>>172253Eric W. @EWess92 - Can President Trump deploy the National Guard in Chicago? No says the Supreme Court--albeit with powerful dissents joined by Justices Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch. Apparently, the Supreme Court majority thinks that the statute only allows deploying the active duty military. Odd!

The North is furious that the U.S. reportedly struck Sokoto, seen as the caliphate’s symbolic headquarters, instead of Borno, Plateau, or the usual terror frontlines.
But America does not f!re blind. Their intelligence is rarely sentimental. They hit where the problem lives, not where the noise is loudest.
Instead of asking hard questions about years of sheltering band!ts and extremists, the blame is being pushed to Tinubu. The line is familiar. This is the first time foreign airstrikes are happening on Nigerian soil. A failing government. An incompetent administration relying on outsiders.
That argument dodges the real issue.
Terr0rism did not start with Tinubu. It was incubated, tolerated, and excused for years. When the fire finally reaches the house, everyone suddenly pretends they never lit the match.
