What's going on in every country being touched by the BRI has significant relevance to the future of America and its citizens and their way and quality of life. How are we supposed to pretend that we can just hole up and not pay attention to any of this stuff happening and believe it is in America's best interests?
We either have a world led by American leadership and stewardship, or we'll have a world led by other leadership and stewardship, most likely the (21st-Century Communist) People's Republic of China's, which will be exploitative and poor, and BAD for America and Americans.
