Shannon Bream @ShannonBream - Happy 30th to my amazing husband. We wouldn’t have chosen to celebrate it in the hospital, where we also spent Thanksgiving and Christmas - but that’s where my selfless stepdad (who raise me like his own) has been fighting and fighting. I’m grateful you are by my side for all the red carpets and awards, but more importantly the valleys and heartbreaks. That’s what marriage actually is, and I hit the jackpot with Sheldon Bream. Sneaking out for an anniversary dinner with the good folks of @texasroadhouse was actually loads of fun. That’s because wherever my Shel is, that’s my favorite place in the world. Here’s to (at least) 30 more!

Shipwreckedcrew @shipwreckedcrew - There is a fundamental lack of understanding about the job of Attorney General and the enormous size of the Department of Justice.
There are two main components of DOJ - both of which a fall under the authority of the Attorney General:
94 U.S. Attorney Offices - one is each federal judicial district.
Main Justice in Washington D.C. made up of 8 major "Divisions" - National Security, Criminal, Civil, Civil Rights, Tax, Antitrust, Environment and Natural Resources, and Justice Management.
The 93 U.S. Attorneys Offices have approxitely 6500 Assistant U.S. Attorneys - line prosecutors in federal courtrooms before approximately 700 federal district judges every day. The AUSAs handle a large majority of all criminal prosecutions, and a significant volume of civil litigation where the U.S. is a plaintiff or defendant.
Main Justice's Divisions have another 3,200 "Trial Attorneys," ranging from 200 in the National Security Division to more than 1000 in the Civil Division.
