Because why should California and Gavin Newsom be getting federal funds when they don't even follow federal law? Nobody is obstructing federal immigration law more than the state of California and Gavin Newsom.
You don't get a penny if you're not going to enforce federal law. And you're right. This is the train to nowhere.

16 years and $15 billion of federal tax money later. And not a single piece of track has been laid.
So I think it's actually time for the Trump administration to go a step further.

Because typically, Jason, when you seethe level of negligence that's occurred here, where again, 16 years and not a single piece of track has been laid, that's not usually incompetence. That is usually corruption.
And I'm going to bet if the Trump DOJ starts to look into exactly where all that money has gone, they're going to find that Gavin Newsom and his friends may have lined their pockets.
