Tyrmand, shown in the video below, is clearly trying to intimidate our source — yet he is the one who was caught on hidden camera saying, “I would kill him [O’Keefe],” and, “The second I saw him [Charlie Kirk] get shot, my immediate first reaction was, why couldn’t it have been O’Keefe?”
We have since filed for a criminal restraining order against Matthew Tyrmand in Palm Beach County, Florida.

On February 6, 2023, I was indefinitely suspended by Project Veritas, the organization I founded out of my father’s garage while on probation at age 25 and built into a 75-person, $25 million investigative newsroom exposing corruption from 2009 to 2023. Tyrmand has long denied working against me but finally admitted on hidden camera he served as an SDNY informant providing information about me and also admitted to acting as an FBI informant.
My team and I received violent threats from Tyrmand. I saw with my own eyes bullet holes in my book through my heart, and he threatened that he wanted to kill me.
Tyrmand advises and solicits investments for several companies, including some in pharmaceuticals, and did so while on the Project Veritas board, including Cathaid Inc., Leicester, MTTC1 Venture, Matt Tyrmand LLC, and ClaimFound. His BrokerCheck report shows he is employed by Bradley Woods & Co. Ltd. in New York.
