>>178332Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський @ZelenskyyUa - I believe that in this war of Russia against Ukraine, there are prospects for a peaceful settlement. Of course there are moments of frustration, internal issues, war related complications, all sorts of trouble. But nevertheless, we must understand one thing: Ukraine wants peace, President Trump wants peace – which means we are allies on this issue, and there should be no doubt about it. We must move toward this goal.
Ukraine wants peace much more than Putin does. Yet Putin does everything to make it look as though he wants peace and Ukraine does not. These are signals he sends to America. This is not true; it is manipulation. I very much want the U.S. to trust us, because we are their partners. Even when help was needed in the Middle East, we responded immediately to the request. That is what being allies all about.
We need to keep looking each day for ways to reach a peace agreement. We need to meet with the Americans. We have a couple more ideas on how we can force this war to end.
From an interview with New York Post (5/5).

I interviewed President @ZelenskyyUa today on a potential US-Ukraine drone deal that could change the future of warfare — if only the US would sign on.

“That’s a clear and imminent threat to the world and to the broader west, but especially to the United States — Whatever it takes for them to gain their influence and ultimately their domination of different cultures and societies”
“Radical Islam has shown that their desire is not simply to occupy one part of the world and be happy with their own little caliphate. They want to expand. It’s revolutionary in its nature. It seeks to expand and control more territories and more people”
“Ultimately all radical Islamic movements in the world, the West by large, but in the United States in particular, as the greatest evil on the earth”
