In a recent statement, Bishop Zaidan welcomed the ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and Iran, but expressed concern that the agreement does not cover Lebanon. He called on the international community to ensure the people of Lebanon receive greater access to humanitarian assistance, noting that more than one million people, including 370,000 children, have been displaced by the fighting.
