Seems like his the resume lists a 'SURF Fellowship at NASA JPL'. Searching it up it shows SURF program was initiated by 'Lew Allen Jr.', who was the Director of the NSA (National Security Agency) before becoming the Director of JPL. - recruitment pipeline designed by the former head of the NSA to identify high-IQ technical talent and feed them into the defense/intelligence infrastructure.
He went from 'Caltech/JPL' (the pinnacle of elite engineering) to 'C2 Education' (a retail tutoring center).
Active assets often take "low status" jobs that provide high access to specific targets (young, impressionable students) without drawing suspicion. No one suspects a SAT tutor of being a cleared defense engineer.
