Breaking911 @Breaking911 - Video: A former Atlanta Hawks accounting executive has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after admitting to stealing millions from the NBA team, federal prosecutors said. Lester Jones Jr., 46, pleaded guilty in December to wire fraud tied to the embezzlement of approximately $3.7 million.
Prosecutors said Jones was sentenced to three years and five months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay nearly $3.9 million in restitution. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia announced the sentence on Wednesday.
