Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - U.S. Senate candidate/Rep. Moore (R-AL01): "The people of Alabama deserve fair representation, not activist judges rewriting our Constitution to impose Washington politics on our state. This latest ruling against Alabama’s congressional map is another example of unelected courts trying to override the will of Alabama voters and punish our state for standing its ground. I stand firmly with Attorney General Steve Marshall and the State of Alabama as they continue defending our lawful map and our constitutional right to draw districts without federal judicial overreach. The Supreme Court has already spoken on the importance of respecting the Constitution and the role of the states, and it’s critical that these principles are upheld consistently and decisively moving forward.”

Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - Rep. Figures (D-AL02): "I am pleased with the Court's decision, but this case is still not over. Although we expected the Court to reach this decision given the overwhelmingly evidence, we fully expect the State to immediately appeal the decision to the Supreme Court. This is a significant step in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go before this fight is settled."

Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - Three federal judge panel who ruled today blocking the 2023 Alabama Congressional map with one majority-Black House district: Circuit Court Judge Stanley Marcus, nominated by Pres. Clinton & confirmed by Senate by voice vote & District Court Judges Anna Manasco (71-21) & Terry Moorer (voice vote), both nominated by Pres. Trump: "We cannot see our way clear to requiring Alabamians to cast their votes in the 2026 elections under a districting plan tainted by intentional race-based discrimination."
