DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - The asset inflation generational trap is real. But it takes a special person to decide to be a public school teacher in the Big Island of Hawai'i and complain about not being able to own a home.

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Saw that exact post. She/he is a public school teacher who moved from Indiana to the Big Island Hawai'i, where the average home prices are 500K+ and island prices are paid on everything.
Hawai'i also has a decent pension system, so the 'no retirement' part needs more explanation.

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Graham Platner calls himself a Communist and has been active in DSA. So why are certain factions insistent on having an alliance with the populist left? Haven't the past 150+ years taught us what the fruits of Communism brings?
Communism (actual card-carrying Marxism, not "free health care" rhetoric) should be every patriot's red line.
And if that isn't a red line, but Israel is, then something has gone badly wrong. You're comparing the most deadly ideology in history to the Middle East's only democratic sovereign state. If you can tolerate Marxism but not Israel, it's fair to ask what your red lines are actually based on.
