VP Vance took the stage at 1:11 pm CT to cheers, chants of USA and a standing ovation from the audience
He told the audience he had event at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. He says last time he was there was the 2024 RNC convention, recalling that moment. “I get there and I have no idea if I’m the VP nominee or not,” he said. He describes receiving a text message from Susie Wiles he says said “JD, you missed a very important phone call” and jokes Trump said now he’d have to pick somebody else, while his son talked to him about Pokemon cards. “I have no idea what’s going on. So walking through the Pfister Hotel” he had a moment of remembrance. “Here I am, it worked out.”
Vance turned to the governor's seat in Wisconsin. "We have got to have a governor who takes fraud as seriously as the President of the United States," shouting out Rep. Tom Tiffany, before recognizing others in the audience.
He then turned to fraud, saying 'How about we give more authority, more power and more influence to the party that is trying to save your money."
