VP Vance focused on anti-fraud efforts.
Vance said he was raised by “blue-collar Democrats, they were Christian patriotic people, union steel workers, who loved the United States of America” but said they wouldn’t recognize “the modern Democratic party.”
“Today this is not about better or worse policy this is about who is supporting the fraudsters and who is supporting you,” Vance said.
“Are you going to vote for the party who is sending your tax money to the fraudsters? No, we're going to support the party that's sending the fraudsters to jail and is protecting your money,” Vance said.
Vance turned to the H1B visa program. He says the program is being used to “undercut ht wage of American workers.” “If you are trying to take advantage of that visa program you are not allowed into the United States of America,” Vance said. He announces that the Department of Labor has started dozens of subpoenas and investigations into “foreign fraudsters” trying to take advantage of the program. “American jobs ought to go to American workers and not foreign fraudsters”
Vance talked about programs for skin grafts, food programs and pre-natal care.
