DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - Actually, it's because right-wing artists don't get financed by hundreds of thousands in random NGO grants like y'all of yours can, and I can prove it going back 40-plus years
Parent Post:
E @ElijahSchaffer - Video: Right wing people spend more time being mad at liberal artists than they do about making good art themselves
They think that just because art is woke that the art itself is bad
Therefore if they just create something that isn’t woke, their art will be better
But the right wing struggles to create anything of cultural impact or importance because we are focused on the wrong things
and waste our time reacting rather than trying to create a more beautiful world.
It’s almost like we’ve gained no actual ground nor captured any institutions because we whine like babies while liberals spend their time creating, conquering, and building the world they want to live in.
All the while we accuse them of being babies while we’re the ones crying online all the time acting like one

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - I got real time updates as well back then, unfortunately. People simply don't understand how panic networks work. There's nothing nefarious about texting others in a moment of choas.
Parent Post:
Seth Dillon @SethDillon - Frank called me from the hospital because I'd texted him to see if Charlie was ok. All I'd heard was that there'd been a shooting. He was in shock and urged me to pray.
The reason these calls happened is because friends who care about each other communicate with each other.
