Governor Katie Hobbs @GovernorHobbs - Heartbroken by the mass shooting in downtown Tucson early this morning. No Arizonan should have to fear gun violence in their community. I am deeply grateful to the Tucson Police officers whose quick intervention prevented further tragedy. We must continue working together to build a safer Arizona and put an end to these senseless acts.

Governor Katie Hobbs @GovernorHobbs - Sending my sincere condolences to Congressman Schweikert and his entire family during this incredibly difficult time. Losing a parent is never easy. My thoughts are with them as they mourn and cherish his memory.

Rep. David Schweikert @RepDavid
It saddens me to share the news that my father Bill Schweikert died this morning
He was a good man, a great father, and a wonderful grandfather to our children Olivia and Matthew.
I will always cherish this picture of him with Matthew that was taken last night just hours before my father passed away.
We will miss him dearly.

Governor Katie Hobbs @GovernorHobbs - Arizona has lost a true champion. As the former President of @ASU and through his work at the Center for the Future of Arizona, Dr. Lattie Coor dedicated his life to making our state a better place for everyone. His legacy will be felt for generations.
