POTUS returned to the White House grounds at 4:02 p.m. after a mostly uneventful trip from his golf club.
At one point on I-66, a DC Fire and EMS ambulance flashing its emergency lights appeared accidentally to enter the motorcade ahead of the press vans. We slowed behind it, then eventually sped around to catch up with the rest of the motorcade.

Pool saw POTUS in his armored SUV during the departure, still wearing a white cap.
