>>189137Robby Starbuck @robbystarbuck - Another win for our movement. The CEO at Cracker Barrel, Julie Masino, has stepped down.
She oversaw the DEI and LGBTQ+ Pride embrace @CrackerBarrel. If the new CEO is smart, he’ll reach out to me to discuss their path forward.
This is another message to Corporate America from sane consumers. You don’t want to mess with us, we don’t roll over.
Quoted Post:
Fox News @FoxNews - NEW: Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino is stepping down following the company's controversial rebrand last year that sparked fierce backlash from longtime customers.
The effort to modernize the chain included removing the iconic Uncle Herschel mascot and redesigning restaurants without many of the nostalgic decorations customers had come to expect.
Cracker Barrel eventually reversed course after the outrage and leaned back into its traditional identity.
The company says former Bloomin' Brands CEO David Deno, whose company owns Outback Steakhouse, will take over on August 10.
