DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - As far as I can tell, it's genuinely one of the few invasions that was organized ad-hoc on social media. People were flooding Facebook exchanging phone numbers, maps, equipment, selling transportation spots, and so forth. They had zero plans on what to do once they arrived. I saw multiple posts talking about "liberation" so invasion is the only correct term.
