Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - Message to the Senate:
“Please don’t go!”
Quoted Post:
Rob Bluey @RobertBluey - The year was 2008, and a group of insurgent Republicans mounted a rebellion on the floor of the House as Congress bolted for the August recess.
18 years later, it’s now the Senate, where another group of Republicans—led by @BasedMikeLee—is asking their leadership to delay recess.
It’s time to resurrect the “don’t go” rallying cry to SAVE America.

Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - The government shouldn’t compel people to have children
Nor should it discourage them from doing so
Our tax system effectively penalizes parents—for having kids
That’s unwise because today’s children will be tomorrow’s taxpayers
Reducing parents’ tax rates would help—a lot
Quoted Post:
Peter St Onge, Ph.D. @profstonge - Easy solution: every child reduces your income tax obligation by 20%.
Logic being raising kids *is* your contribution
