As a restaurant owner, I can tell you this - nobody wants to charge $18 for a burrito. We'd much rather sell a $12 burrito and have you come back twice a week. The problem is the cost of running a restaurant has exploded. Only a few people get rich in this scenario - the people closest to newly created money. Everyone else just pays more for takeout.
