Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee - Like they just won the lottery
Well said
And very, very sad
Parent Post:
My moms caregiver @mymomcare - Look at them.
Big smiles. Laughing eyes. Standing shoulder to shoulder like they just won the lottery.
These are the women who just helped erase the last real limit on abortion in Massachusetts. As of yesterday, a doctor’s “professional judgment” is all it takes to end a pregnancy at 24 weeks… 30 weeks… 36 weeks… right up to the moment of birth.
They call it healthcare.
They call it compassion.
They call it freedom.
A baby at that stage can feel pain. It has fingerprints. It practices breathing. In many cases it could survive outside the womb with modern care. And these women are beaming while they strip away the last legal recognition that this is a human life worth protecting.
The cruelty isn’t only in the law itself.
It’s in the pure, unashamed joy on their faces while they celebrate it.
That’s not progress.
That’s a room full of people who have decided some children’s lives are optional - and they’re proud of it.
