President Trump did not come to the back of the plane to talk to reporters. This is my first time on the Qatari “Bridge” Air Force One, so I will share a few observations. The coloring in the press area is beige and brown, with striped carpets and checkered- patterned cloth seats that have leather arms and embroidery. It’s sleek and luxurious. Each passenger has their own television in front of them. On the trip to Cleveland, all the TVs were on Fox News airing “The Will Cain Show.” Each seat has the ability to give massages and I took advantage. I alternated from the “pulse” setting and the “wave” setting. Felt great. The seats can also lean all the way back, completely horizontal, if one needs to catch some Zzzs. The seats have built-in refrigerated areas that can hold a few bottles of water or other drinks. The eating trays are large, glossy brown and swivel very smoothly with ease. A leather tan curtain separates the traveling press area from other passengers on the plane, presumably Secret Service. The press area of the plane is extremely spacious. For example, as I’m sitting here, I can extend my legs as far as they can reach and not hit the seats in front of me or the television. The aisle is about twice as wide as the previous Air Force One.
