DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - The best explanation is what she gave me - she wanted to give a "gift" to get on my good side and did not realize the asymmetry of the ask between handler and receiver.

Tired of being politically correct @USBornNRaised - I am still confused and want to stay on topic here.
If the Under Secretary could simply post them herself hours later (and they were already shared with Congress in some form), why did she route them to you with the markings still live and the 'explicit' request to leak. I am not in the underbelly so I would like to understand this better.

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - His relationship with Kirk was much more complicated and sincere than you portray it as, and they never stopped communications.

Auron MacIntyre @AuronMacintyre - I am less sure that having James Lindsay, a guy who has now described many of Charlie Kirk's own beliefs as woke, cozy up to you and tell you the "woke right" is responsible for this mistake is the correct take away here

BTW, my position on the Vance/Rubio debate is that Trump will endorse one or the other and it'll be all moot then.
