My dad drank himself to death when I was 17, I found him dead in my grandma's guest bedroom
At 13 I found my uncle dead in his trailer, not too much longer after that my other uncle died sitting up in his truck from alcohol
I lived with my grandparents growing up, I watched my grandfather SUFFER with lung cancer from smoking, I knew he was about to die but finding him dead hit me worse than anything, then finally at 25 my grandma, the lady who raised me died, iv literally watched everyone i loved die, it fucked me up, i did ALOT of drugs and have spent a few years in prison
BUT!
NONE of these things made me want to go out and hurt others, especially take innocent peoples lives
Fuck the excuses, put this fucker away for good
