🇺🇸🇶🇦🇮🇪 Trump's flying the Qatari 747 to Ireland next week.
It's the first international trip for the gifted jet, and he's using it to attend the Irish Open at his own golf course in Doonbeg, with some official meetings sprinkled in.
The retrofit has already burned through $400 million, yet the heavier security upgrades said to "max out" the plane still aren't finished.
Air Force One jets are built as flying fortresses, layered with hardened communications and defensive systems that take YEARS to install properly...
And experts aren't convinced the Qatari 747 is anywhere near that standard yet.
But Trump isn't waiting for them to catch up...
With a heavy travel calendar ahead of the midterms, that jet is going to log a LOT of hours.
