Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump - From Greg Wischer at the United States Department of the Interior: “Following five years of no repairs, the fountains and pools at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial were recently rehabilitated. More than 100,000 gallons of water flow through the seven unique granite fountains and pools at the memorial, and the fountains’ mechanical systems—as well as the surrounding plaza, including the large sidewalk pavers—were all repaired. At the memorial, each fountain—its movement, scale, and sound—represent distinct challenges and achievements of Roosevelt’s four terms. For example, the unorderly blocks in the first photo below represent the uneasy stability of the Cold War that followed Roosevelt’s death and post-WWII period. Additional photos of some of the other fountains at the memorial are also below.”

Trump @realDonaldTrump - From Greg Wischer at the United States Department of the Interior: “After eight years since its last repairs, the George Mason Memorial fountain was recently repaired and beautified. The fountain’s nozzles and controllers were all replaced, and the plaza surrounding the fountain was also rehabilitated, including cleaning of the George Mason statue and masonry work, as well as repairing and painting of the pergola. The first photo below shows the fountain, which is located on the north end of East Potomac Park. In the second photo below, the Washington Monument is in the background, and in the third photo below, the statue of George Mason is in the background.”
