Quoted Post: Bill Melugin @BillMelugin_ - BREAKING: Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has arrested a Nigerian non-citizen in Lynn, MA and DOJ has charged her after they say she illegally voted in several US elections, including the 2024 Presidential election & 2022 midterms, and falsely attested to be a US citizen multiple times while registering to vote in MA. DOJ has now charged 56-year-old Gladys Adaeze Okafor with unlawfully voting as an alien and she is expected to make her first appearance in federal court in Boston later today. Per DOJ, Okafor is a Nigerian national who has a green card/lawful permanent resident status in the US, but hasn’t applied for US citizenship – and is legally not allowed to vote because she is a non-citizen. Feds say when she registered to vote in Lynn, MA in July 2022, she falsely attested to be a US citizen. She then voted in the 2022 midterms. DOJ says she then submitted a second voter registration form in 2023, once again falsely attesting to be a US citizen. She then allegedly voted in the 2024 Presidential election, which DOJ says she admitted to in a recorded interview with an HSI agent last week.
