The Qatari Foreign Affairs Ministry issued a strong condemnation on Sunday of Houthi attacks targeting Riyadh with a ballistic missile, along with "attempted" strikes on civilians in Bish, Taif, Farasan and Yanbu.
In a statement, Doha described these actions as "a reprehensible hostile act" and an unacceptable violation of Saudi sovereignty. Qatar voiced its firm rejection of any assault on civilians and civilian assets, calling for an immediate end to such irresponsible actions.
The ministry reaffirmed its "full solidarity" with Saudi Arabia and backed "all legitimate measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and interests."
