What a difference 9 years makes at Lake Powell.
@NASA satellite images show the reservoir in September 2017, during one of its highest levels of the past decade, compared to September 2026 as it dropped to record-lows. A meager winter snowpack across the Colorado Basin meant little runoff to replenish the reservoir.
