Vance urges Alaskans not to trust politicians by what they say but by what they do, pointing to Peltola’s and Sullivan’s records on protecting fishermen.
He announces the Alaska Rail Belt Transmission Project, which is going to devote over $400 million to Alaska’s grid.
“We have so few good people in Washington D.C. who show up and do their job and fight for their constituents. So I'm asking you, in one short month, to keep Alaska's future bright and vote for my dear friend Dan Sullivan to the United States.”
A protestor was escorted out of the event as he yelled insults that appeared to be about both Vance and Donald Trump. As he was being led out, he could be heard yelling “pervert.”
VP says Democrats are obsessed with Alaska, seeing it as their “last best hope to take America.”
“Now we all know this: they are ruthless. They will do whatever they need to do right after cheating, and right after lying, right after putting somebody on the ballot who has no reason to be there other than to help them steal an election.”
VP concluded his remarks at 6:42 pm local time.
