🚨 BREAKING | MAN DIES AFTER STABBING IN NORTHEAST D.C.; SUSPECT ARRESTED
WASHINGTON, D.C. — D.C. Police are investigating a fatal stabbing Saturday afternoon near Fenwick Street and West Virginia Avenue NE.
According to preliminary information from MPD, Fifth District officers responded around 4:05 p.m. after an initial report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers determined the victim had actually been stabbed.
An adult man was found conscious and breathing with a stab wound and was transported to a local hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, he later died from his injuries.
Police say one suspect was arrested at the scene.
The MPD Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Additional information, including the victim’s identity and circumstances surrounding the stabbing, is expected in a forthcoming police release.

Yesterday DC suffered two homicide incidents. A 17 year old female was shot and killed in a double shooting in Northwest DC. Also an adult male was killed in Northeast DC.
