White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - Travel Pool Report 6/Scheduling news
President Trump kicked off his remarks saying he will return to Alabama next Saturday (Oct. 10) to watch the football game between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
He noted interest in the fact that he is visiting deeply Republican areas ahead of the midterms, saying, "I'm coming really as a sign of respect."
He also touted $3 billion in federal funding for a local bridge project. "Maybe they'll name the damned bridge after me," he joked.
