There were no visitors to press cabin during the flight.
Halperin shared with pool that his interview with Vance will air at 6 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. because of technology issues.
He shared that Vance was “convivial” during the interview. Halperin said Vance didn’t commit to running for president in 2028 but that if he does run, he would expect to have Trump’s endorsement. He said that Vance declined to endorse Netanyahu and replied that he endorses American candidates and is not getting involved in Israeli elections. He said Vance also discussed the firings of Kimberly Guilfoyle and Katie Zacharia in the interview and lessons the administration learned and questions about the money the Trump family has made while in office.
