At least the beginnings of VRChat showed that there's still wild potential in it, you just need substantial new tech like VR and a decentralized platform or private servers. I think that mostly matches Doc's predictions for the future too, IIRC he said that's probably where we were headed. My only question is why bother making the wifebots so realistic looking if I'm going to be wearing vr goggles anyway?
