last time it happened it was about the local car market, someone was clueless about actual prices vs MSRPs and I pointed out their mistake (in a way that wasn't any more smug or confrontational than they were) and they had that typical reaction where they immediately call you a NEET or a nerd or an incel or a combination of those things in the most hurtful way they can think of. I've had to deal with that stuff my whole life and it's tiresome. If I ever get a job I'm gonna print out payroll records or some other documentation and glue them to my forehead or something. Oh and a picture of my girlfriend/wife too. Maybe that way people will stop being fucking vicious
