I finished the book. Excellent scifi philosophic stuff aside, I also enjoyed how the writing brought back so many plot devices to be used a second time. Also ironic how the cyber dogs used their extremely descriptive dog bark language to know that Rife was a bad guy and needed to be blown up. And at the end I appreciated how the author had Hiro sit down and explain the whole plot to some other characters (and me) in one big chunk.
