My current schizo ponderings are towards the fact non-christian neopagan society, in returning to the saturnian/cronos understanding of reality, seeks sacrificing the younger as a solution to bad times.
Much like the younger generations were sacrificed during COVID just to try to make old people live a few years more as if it was super normal and so on. The "child sacrifice" doesn't need to be literal cults eating kids alive, it is largely this omnipresent devaluation of the life of the next generations/young due to a narcisistic nihilist perspective.
