Not tank controls. It's 3rd person fixed camera like Resident Evil. You can strafe, but only if you ready your gun by holding down the square button. You can also go 1st person, where you can free aim, but you can't walk around, only duck left and right slightly.

There's a section where you have to shoot some little targets to disarm some bombs. To shoot one you have to enter 1st person, ready your pistol, and stand on your toes for extra height. To do that you have to hold down three shoulder buttons and the square button. It played well for the sneaking gameplay, but not the shooting.
