Catholic philosophy is much more advanced than you think, its just very hard to get into because they closed down the esoteric catholic practice to catholic mystics only and the revolted Templars (who went to be the Masons) did did centuries of campaign to obscure, distort and defame it.

The cosmovision is very Nietzschean or even gnostic in most senses, the real disagreement point is in relation to the role of Christ and how he resolved them/offered us a clear path to Salvation.
