Maybe she was one of those foids who are born conscious/rational, meaning they are stuck in a foid shell that is insane and emotional beyond their control and thus there is only one escape.
I've met some such cases, self-awareness in a foid doesn't give them any control over the foidness, it just makes them suffer.
