Americans were once "our people" who had survived and congregated, and stood fighting for their own independence and freedom. The old west was perhaps the biggest example of a true society formed of independent families.
It took a long time for it to be corrupted and require a refresher and I'm thankful for their efforts and example, and it should be honored.
