I heard recently that the Jew's red heifer had a tag put in one of it's ears by some wagie and that disqualified it from the ritual, though jews have since sewn the tag hole shut and are debating about whether the cow is still valid.
Related to that last sentence, I was suggested this channel of this rabbi who talks for hours about which chickens are valid for sacrifice, and the multitude of questions and exceptions that may apply (can I eat the chicken after? can a goy touch the chicken before?).
