It's true that, given a perfectly selfish utility function that assigns no value to others and only cooperates for game-theoretic reasons, Effective Altruism is bad game theory. But have you considered that "all EAs are perfectly selfish and only care about others insofar as they expect to benefit through reciprocity" might be a faulty premise?
