Alright I tried going to the gazebo. As soon as I was sitting on the round table I immediately remembered the silver tray and the pearl. I picked it up, and someone (Yuuka?) appeared to my right, and beckoned me. She took me to some sort of void, where she asked what I wanted.
Somewhat improvisedly I asked her for help with telepathy. She gave me what looked like a cell phone, but she told me it was a "black remote".
I remember this being mentioned somewhere, so I looked it up and I found this:
