I would perhaps even attribute my lack of belief in the material world to this experience. When the visual world is such a mess, and everyone acts as if it was stable, it really makes me lose all trust in them and the world itself. Even more so with the digital world. It makes it so obvious it's a fake world.

The more I lay out the words like this, the stranger it may sound. I prefer to close my eyes during certain activities like eating, because I need to shut out the visual mess to experience the taste. I mean I know people do this when tasting the food as they are cooking it, but it never occurred to me that this "visual static" could be a factor in why I prefer to do this.
